33rd Annual Bull Sale

50 Years in the making.

Our 33rd Annual Bull Sale was held on August 6th, and marked a special day for Roger and Glenoch Angus with the presentation of a plaque celebrating 50 years of Stud breeding by Angus Australia president Sinclair Munro.

Starting out with just 2 stud females in 1974, we now run over 600 stud breeders. When Roger started out with Angus in QLD, there were a few wayward glances. However, it fills us with great pride to see the majority of our sale lineup heading into QLD once again this year.

Together with NB Genetics, we sold 92/109 bulls with a top of $30,000 going to NB Genetics Tabuai-Fidow T834. Of the Glenoch Bulls, we topped with $26,000, averaging $9,087.

Thank you to all the bidders and under-bidders at the sale, without you we could not do what we do. We were especially pleased to welcome some new clients this year, and thank you for your interest in our genetics.

Thank you also to the Ray White Livestock Dalby team for their help running the sale, and York Auctioneering for their superb work on the rostrum. Thanks also go to Batesy’s Smoke ’N’ Grill for the beautiful meat, and Durong South State School P&C for this delicious cakes, slices, tea and coffee. A big thank you also to Kiwi Livestock Photography for all the photos taken of the day, as well as all her work marketing our lots in the lead up to the Sale. And finally, thank you to our fantastic team for all their work leading into the day, as well as ensuring the back yards ran smoothly.

We look forward to seeing you all again in 2025.
